Peter understands that we must immediately address the threat of global warming. Peter has called for an "Apollo-like project for the 21st Century" to address global warming, strengthen our economy, and make us more secure in the world. He believes we must immediately increase fuel economy standards for car and trucks, reverse the billions in tax cuts given to the oil and gas industry by the Republican Congress so we can fund renewable energy, aggressively improve efficiency and curb our green house gas emissions.
